Unusually High Call Volume

High Call VolumnI have two of the most popular listings in town right now.  Yay, me.

Lots of excited buyers and agents clamoring for THE bit of information that will help them be the winning offer.  They want me to help them.  I want to help them.

“I am sorry, we are experiencing unusually high call volume.  Wait times may be extended.  We apologize for the inconvenience”

Some of the agents have been listing agents of THE popular listing.  They understand my limited bandwidth.  They text specific questions that require short answers.  They get the help they need.

Some agents have no clue what it is like to be slammed.  They leave aggrieved voice mail messages, “This is my third call to you.  Please call me back as I have questions about your listing.”

I’ve done that.  I cringe as I say that to you.  Because I now get it.  You don’t know what you don’t know.

Now that I am on this side, here is my advice.  Be specific.  Be an expert.  Make it as easy as possible for the busy person. Yes, I know YOU are the busy person.  Suck it up, anyway.  Your buyer needs you.
