How Do You Celebrate the 4th?

Happy Birthday, America!  Let’s celebrate with a bang. This firework guide will help you locate where the great places are to watch fireworks on the 4th of July, here, in the Foothills
Sierra Madre Fourth
The first firework show in the area is in Sierra Madre. This event is really different as it has a pre-party festival on the 3rd. During the party, they will be offering free food and drinks, so great opportunity to have some fun. Also don’t forget the boom at the end. It is the biggest event in town. Have trouble getting here? Don’t worry there is a free shuttle bus to take you to this fantastic event. Sierra Madre Fourth of July Festivities

The second event is at the Mac Daddy Show at the Pasadena Rose bowl. Everyone should experience this funfest once in their lives.  You can park on the bowl’s rim (try the northest edge around Arroyo and Howard) and watch for free or go legit and park in the bowl itself and get real tickets.  The festival starts at 2PM so you can come here early. The shows start at 7, where you can enjoy motorcycles, musical performances, and much more. The tickets here cost $13 for general admission and kids under 5 are free. The reserved seating are $25, and everyone here needs a ticket. You don’t want to miss this 88th celebration of Americas birthday at the Rose bowl. Americafest :: Rose Bowl Stadium

The third event is located in Monrovia. Entertainment starts at 3PM with recorded music than live concerts at 7PMfor you to enjoy. You can reserve a 10X10 lot space for you to chill out in. Also there will be a canopy decorating contest. The winner will win a prize. The fireworks start at 9PM and will last for about 20 minutes. This event is also free of charge. 4th of July Concert & Fireworks Show | City of Monrovia California Official Website
La Crescenta Fireworks show
The last event is the Crescenta Valley fireworks, and it is my personal favorite. I love seeing my neighbors and clients, randomly throughout the event. Community groups perform, clubs have their booths and a general small town picnic atmosphere is rampant.   It will be held at La Crescenta School playground, and the gates will open at 4PM. There will be rides, food trucks, and music. Make sure to get here before 8:30PM, otherwise the gates will close. The fireworks start around 9PM and will last for about 15-20 minutes. The tickets are $7 for pre-sale and $10 at the door. Crescenta Valley Fireworks
