Today is Tuesday so I must be in La Canada. Or La Crescenta. I am writing in blue so you can tell when I am talking and when the MLS is talking.
The spring Home Season is here, so where are the new listings? Our statistics, this season, are as unusual as the weather. If it can snow in Montrose ,we can have plummeting inventory levels AND flat to declining prices at the same time. Go figure.
My “Best Of” picks are both in La Crescenta.
First up is the Hot Property for today. My good and goofy friend, Maria Muriello, who is entirely crazy in the best way possible, , listed this amazing home over on Cloudcrest. It vibes with a “good people live here” feeling and it is bright, cheerful and in great condition. I predict this will be the home people fight over.

Next on the list is the “pretty”. Wacky chicks seem to rule this week as another dear friend (geeks rule and ludites drool!) Sue Eller debuts a Craftsman Jewel on the historic El Caminito off Rosemont. I don’t think I have ever had such a strong sense of personality as I felt from this home. It oozes strength, quality and a feeling that time can not touch this structure. Sue tells me this home was built by a famous ball room dance instructor- that would explain the effortless grace of the formal rooms. This home demands the perfect buyer. Won’t you pass the word along to anyone you know?
