The Most Popular Homes in Glendale…

Well, technically, I am referring to the most popular CATEGORY of homes.  June’s Market Reports shows us the most popular price range for single family homes is between $700,000 and $800,000.  Clearly I need to find more of those types of homes for you all to buy!

Let it never be said that I do not deliver.

Here are our Top Picks for open homes in just that price range.

Mary

Open, Saturday Only (1-4 PM) 2619 Mary St., La Crescenta.  Offered at $769,000.  This charming traditional is full of energy conservation surprises!  Solar electric panels means you can run your AC guilt free all summer long.  Utility bills are next to nothing and many months you actually get a credit!  Sparkling pool is the perfect summer hang out and the fully permitted guest house is just as nice (and remodeled) as the house.

1114 HIghland Ave

Open Sunday Only, (1 – 4 PM) 1114 Highland Ave., Glendale – Offered at $798,000.  This landmark home marks the entry to one of Northwest Glendale’s most gracious streets (800 block of Palm).  The person who will fall in love values gracious and elegant details, effortless entertaining and quiet evenings by the fire.  The outdoor patio is like an additional room with fireplace, dining area and sitting area.

-

Open Saurday and Sunday (1 – 4 PM) 4838 Glenwood Ave., La Crescenta – Offered at $749,900.  This delightful home sold in about 13 seconds when it hit the market a few weeks ago.  I love how the remodeled kitchen opens to the high, wood ceilinged, family room. I also adore the large grassy backyard.  If my own, rather large, chilluns still ran around in a yard I would be all over this house.  Alas, they are more interested in friends and “hangin’ out” whatever that means, so you must buy this home and enjoy it instead!

Enjoy the weekend and, as always, enjoy this complete guide to open homes in the Foothills!!
