Meet Kendyl

My Core Values:

Family, first. Always move forward. Good enough, isn’t. Laugh from the heart and do that as much as you can. Do the right thing. If you stop learning and changing, you are dead. Tend to your relationships- people matter way more than things.

Hey, and thanks for taking a moment to read my bio.  Let me give you a little sense of who I am.

Unlike almost every other Realtor, I have not had a long and storied career in some other industry. I graduated from UCLA with a BA in Mass Communications and had a brief career with Proctor and Gamble and M&M/Mars Inc. Brief, because it did not take long to realize I do not fit into your average corporate environment. I run with scissors and I don’t always share sandbox toys. Oh, and if you are dumb I might say so. To your face. But I’ll also tell you if you’re brilliant, so, in my mind, it evens out.

In 1987 I plunged happily into residential real estate sales at the ripe old age of 23 and a half. Yes, I really am that old. It was the late 80’s and I am a reasonably cute female who speaks fluent geek. I sold a lot of houses to guys (and gals) who could have been cast on The Big Bang Theory. They are smart, I am smart, and I know a lot about buying and selling homes. It worked really well.

In 1992 I moved back home to Glendale to raise a family. I joined Coldwell Banker, in part because that is where my mother, an iconic Realtor in Glendale, was. I now work with all kinds of people, not just geeks. I attract clients who demand excellence – in marketing, negotiations, integrity and sheer business know how. I push the boundaries of technology to make the real estate experience better – better marketing, deeper research, better experience. My goal is to make you feel like you have an advocate at your side, every step of the way.

In 2013 I launched  my own company, DIGGS.  At DIGGS, we have a deep respect and empathy for our clients.  We spent months tearing apart every detail of the real estate experience and rebuilt everything from the customer’s point of view.

As a result, the DIGGS client is more educated, better prepared, less stressed and more in control of the process.  They also have more fun.

Real Estate is a huge part of my life, but there are many other parts! I am the proud mother of two exuberant teens and the privileged wife of an awesome husband and silent partner in my real estate business. I am an LA native and I have a plethora of siblings, nieces and nephews in the local area, and I’d rather spend what little free time I have hanging out with my family than doing anything else.

I am also a fabulous cook, DIY home remodeler, knowledgeable gardener, iPhone photography (actually i-Anything) fanatic, sci-fi aficionado and many other things. In all my endeavors, I delve deeply, I care passionately, and I try to live and work with few regrets.

If this suits you, and there is something I can help you with, we’ll work together fabulously well.  If not, I’ll be more than happy to answer any of your questions, no strings attached, and make recommendations, if you’ll let me.
