The old adage in Real Estate- it is either feast or famine! Right now I am in the “feast” part of the cycle with all manner of deals, negotiations and listing preparations going on. I would love to share the drama… but that would not be professional or lady-like, right?
The upshot is that I do not get to tour the lovely new listings in Glendale today.
There is a Grande Dame in the Rossmoyne that looks lovely. This is an original romantic Spanish two story that has not been on the market in decades (click the hyper link for details and pictures). There is also a clean looking Glendale home in 91201 (below Bel Aire) that has good size (1650 sf) but only 2 bed and 1.5 bath plus a den. I viewed this Montecito Park Spanish yesterday- it has lots of character and a floor plan that gives everybody their own space.
But the one I really, really, want to see is this Glendale City View Home. Located on Rimcrest- where the views a renowned, this contemporary home looks fairly restrained and unassuming from the street. However the Hollywood Glamour starts from the double (as in “two”!) curved staircases leading from the inlaid marble foyer. Puh-lease!!! If Joan Crawford had lived in Glendale this would be her manse! Take a gander at these eye-popping pix, and, if anyone has a few million smakeroos to drop on an abode, call me. We can tour this together.
